My vision is a clear, dynamic, and holistic approach to football. This allows for my philosophy to develop and evolve over time. Like bamboo, there is clear strength and structure, combined with flexibility to bend to become stronger and assist others along the way. I believe in enabling people to become the best version of themselves in a high-performance environment through a defined team identity and club values. My experiences in football, my desire to learn, and an ecological approach to coaching, creates an appetite for success. Working both as a teacher and as an elite football coach means I have developed excellent communication skills, pedagogical insight, and evaluative tools to ensure learning and growth is always taking place in a variety of learning styles and needs. When coaching a team, I believe in starting with the end in mind - preparing for long term and short term goals which clearly define expectations. I believe that in order to achieve excellence, we need to have an ecological learning environment - prioritising decision making in a variety of settings.
